Benjamin Lee is a Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, helping startups build and scale on the cloud. He holds an MS in Systems Engineering with a focus in Cybersecurity from Johns Hopkins University — where he led engineering for a Mining in Space research project — and a BS in Statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

His career spans data science, ML engineering, and cloud architecture across Microsoft, BMO Financial Group, Constellation Brands, and AB InBev, with a consistent focus on building real-time data pipelines, predictive models, and GenAI-powered systems at scale.

Before moving into industry, he served as a Network Specialist at the Defense Command and Control HQ – Joint Interoperability Center in South Korea, where he led CTF training and supported air-sea-ground operations.

His interests include AI/ML systems, cybersecurity, cloud-native architecture, and quantitative research. He is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
